'J <br /> <br />! <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS JULY 6, 1983 ? PAGE 2 <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Prokay and J. Larussa of Kingsman Home <br />Improvement. R. Bugala moved to grant the variance, seconded by L. <br />Horvath, and unanimously approved. <br />4. Richard Mongello, property located behind Sunoco Station at Lorain <br />and Clague. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance to subdivide property <br />with no frontage on Lorain Rd. and less than 25, 000 sq. ft. lot area. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1174.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Mongello and Mr. Leo. Mr. Mongello ex- <br />plained this is one piece of property and the Sunoco station leases <br />the front section facing Lorain Rd., the rear portion is vacant and <br />faces Clague Rd. Law Director Gareau stated that many commercial <br />lots are now facing streets other than Lorain Rd, as an example, Dover <br />Center Road. Mr. Mongello stated that the building will be a pro- <br />fessional office building (his office, a computer center, and an <br />insurance agency) and the drive will be off Clague Rd. Neighbors <br />from Clague Towers, Mr. Duley and Mr. Muro, were sworn in and viewed <br />the plans. Mr. Mongello explained that property will be landscaped. <br />Parking could possibly be rearranged and building moved forward. The <br />neighbors had no objections. T. Restifo moved to grant the variances, <br />seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />5. D. McDonnell, 3260 W. 231st St. <br />Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set <br />back). Special permit required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. McDonnell and M. Burke. L. Horvath <br />moved to grant the special permit, seconded by E. Graves, and uanan- <br />imously approved. Special permit granted. <br />8. Douglas L. Miller (case heard at this point in meeting - see page 6. <br />6. K. W. Chang, 4180 Linden Circle <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 12' rear yard variance for <br />enclosed patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Chang. R. Bugala moved to grant the <br />variance, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />7. Perry Palladino, 4638 Brendan Circle (Sublot 10) <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 18 inch front set back var- <br />iance to construct dwelling. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1159.02. <br />Chariman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. DeSalvo, Mr. Paine, and Mr. DeSalvo, Sr, <br />representing his daughter, and to Mr. Palladino. The oath was adminis- <br />tered to Mrs. Mariner separately. It was pointed out this was only <br />P8 inches encroaching at one corner into front set back. Mr. J. De <br />Salvo, representing his daughter, objected to the variance since a
