Mr. Hummer introduced a letter advising <br />the Planning Commission of the meeting with Mrs. Genzano. Dr. . <br />HurBmer again stated that this center was not involved in pregnancy <br />termination. B. Gorris moved to approve the Medical Emergency <br />Doctors' Center with the stipulation that an agreeable engineering <br />solution to water retention be reached and it is also to be noted <br />that the Planning Commission was, on two occassions,. advised__by <br />the developer that Emergency Medical Service does not include <br />pregnancy termination, and also to approve the ground sign for <br />the Medical Emergency Doctors' Center as presented, seconded by J. <br />Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />(3) Ground Round Restaurant, 24250 Lorain Rde <br />Proposal to construct addition to existing restaurant. <br />Approved by Architectural Board of Review, February 16, 1983. <br />Plans were studied in conjunction with the Architectural Board <br />of Review Minutes. The addition had been approved as presented. <br />J. Burns moved to approve the Ground Round addition plans:a.as <br />submitted, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />(1) Anna Dorr's Subdivision, located at the southeast corner of the <br />intersection of Byron Drive with Canterbury Road. <br />Consists of two (2) sublots from permanent parcels 232-31-2 and <br />232-31-19. <br />Note that a variance for lot area and depth was granted Nov. 11, 1981. <br />After a brief discussion, it was determined that this variance, <br />granted in 1981,had expired; and Mrs. Dorr would have to obtain <br />another. The item was withdrawn. <br />(2) Developers Diversified Rezoning Request, located on the west side <br />(abutting) of relocated S.R. 252 between I-480 and Butternut Ridge <br />Road. <br />Forty three (43) acres proposed to be rezoned from Class "A" <br />Residence, Single to Motorists Services District and Mixed Use <br />District. <br />Concept plans had been mailed to members prior to the meeting. Mr. <br />McGill, of Developers Diversified, explained that the 43 acre par- <br />cel is now zoned "A" residential; they are requesting that 13.4 <br />acres be rezoned for Motorists Service District and 19.15 acres <br />rezoned for the Mixed Use District. The three access drives to the <br />complex will be off relocated 252 and there is a 15' wide strip <br />off Butternut Ridge which will be used for a utility easement. <br />A hotel and restaurant are planned for the Motorists Service Dis= <br />trict but no specific commitment has been made.
