? <br />.r <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APRIL 26, 1983 PAGE 3 <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />(1) Norman & Lorraine Fruits Assembly Plat, Combining of two (2) <br />parcels, 232-29-6 and 232-29-21 into one (1) parcel. Located <br />on the west side of Shelley Drive, approximately midway be- <br />tween Defoe and Byron Drives. <br />Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott explained the plan to <br />assemble the rear land locked parcel to the existing lot <br />with the dwelling on it. The proposal was explained to the <br />adjacent neighbors. J. Roberts moved to assemble the plat <br />for Norman and Lorraine Fruits as-'shown on the April 13, 1983 <br />drawing pertaining to combining parcels 232-29-21 and 232-29- <br />6, seconded by J. Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Burns read a letter to Chairman Morgan from Councilman Woerpel <br />regarding a meeting on April 27th at 7:30 p.m. to discuss refer- <br />endum for the Industrial Park. Mr. Woerpel explained this meeting <br />is to plan strategy for campaign-ito explain plans for the Indus= <br />trial Park. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Burns advised that Mr. Morgan had attended the Long Range <br />Planning Committee meeting regarding city owned vacant land. <br />It was explained that many of these are landlocked parcels. Mr. <br />Morgan would like the Planning Commission Land Use Committee to <br />include this property in their discussions. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Report from Captain Brow of the Police Department which agrees <br />with Planning Commission's recommendations for ingress and egress <br />from Pheasants Walk Subdivision. <br />On April 28th at 7:30 p.m., the BZD Committee will be meet-ing with <br />Developers Diversified. <br />Mr. Woerpel advised that the Committee to study sign,ordinances <br />for.the proposed Industrial Park will be postponed until after <br />the referendum. <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Mr. Gorris stated that his Committee for Land Use Study is <br />` gathering material and will be meeting shortly. <br />IX. J. Brown moved to excuse the absence of T.
