J
?
!
. I PLANNING COMMISSION MAY 24, 1983 PAGE 3
VI . NEW BLTSINESS :
No items.
VII. OLD BUSINESS:
In reference to the letter from Mrs. Predovic which was received
at the May lOth meeting objecting to Planning Commission's recom-
mendation for rezoning the General Retail Business area to Resi-
dential in the Pheasants Walk Subdivision, on the basis that it
would devalue her adjacent commercial property; Mr. McDermott
stated that one restriction that would be placed on her land
would be that any building would have to be built 5' off her
property line since it was adjacent to residential property. Mr.
Dubelko pointed out several areas where commercial property could
be affected by abutting residential, but since her property al-
ready abuts residential property to the rear and on the west, he
believes the affect would be minimal.
Copies of the Study of Vacant Gity Owned Land were distributed.to
members.
VIII. COMMITTEE REPORT:
Mr. Roberts suggested that the Land Use Committee should, during
the review of the 1968 Comprehensive Plan, try to determine which
of the charts therein should be updated by the Regional Planning
Commission.
.
