Brown moved to approve the Christ The King <br />proposal to construct three crosses as presented, seconded by J. <br />Roberts, and unanimously approved. <br />(4) Great Northern Corporate Center, located east of Great Northern <br />Blvd. and north of Country Club Blvd. <br />Final plans for phase 1-A of Corporate Center (Development plans <br />approved on September 13, 1983). <br />Mr. Richland of Great Northern presented proposal. Architectural <br />Board approved as presented. Landscape and lighting plans will be <br />presented to the Architectural Board of Review later.The Safety <br />Department had no objections to the proposal and listed several <br />fire codes which are to be considered. Mr. Richland was given re- <br />port. Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott stated there were some <br />minor points which could be taken care of later. J. Roberts moved <br />to approve the Great Northern Corporate Center as recommended by the <br />Architectural Board of Review, seconded by B. Gorris, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />(5) Great Northern Dodge, 26100 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct detached building for body shop and parts <br />store on existing dealership property. <br />No representative present. Mr. Gundy stated that area would have <br />to be paved. Assistant City Engineer stated that some type of re- <br />tention system would be required. Mr. McDermott cannot f ind any <br />record of a gas well on property. B. Gorris moved to table the <br />Great Northern Dodge proposal, seconded by J. Wixted, and unani- <br />mously approved. <br />(6) Taco Bell, 24247 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct drive-thru window. <br />Mr. Andrejasik explained proposal. Pole sign will'not have to be <br />relocated as previously stated. Safety Department had no problems <br />with proposal. Window will not encroach into side set back. Drive- <br />thru signs do not have to be approved by Coumission. J. Wixted <br />moved to approve the Taco Bell proposal to construct a drive thru <br />window duly noting the language in the minutes of the Architectural <br />Board of Review regarding the red letters with yellow background of <br />the drive-thru directional signs, seconded by J. Brown, and unani- <br />mously approved. <br />(7) Cleveland Twx Shop, 25261 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to alter existing restaurant for tux shop. <br />Mr. Goldner, the owner., presented the revised plans. Pier on west <br />of building has been removed, sign on west elevation will now be <br />illuminated. Sign showri on plans without copy will say "Sales, <br />Rentals, and Dry Cleaning". Signs conform to ordinance. B. Gorris <br />moved to approve the Cleveland Tux Shop proposal as submitted in- <br />cluding all signs, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved.
