.'

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS NOVEMBER 10, 1982 PAGE 5
iance, seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved.
15e Developers Diversified, 3455 Chagrin Blvd.
Request for Ruling (1133.09) Request ruling if office buildings are a
permitted use in the Motorists Service District Ord. 62-33, Sections
1175.03, 1175.06, and 1175.07. Location per property map.
Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath
was administered to Attorneys D. Robiner and K. Lefkowitz, and to G. Cspo,
project manager. It was explained that the code was unclear in that it
did not mention office buildings or banks as a permitted use in a Motorists
Service District, however, they are mentioned in regard to set backs and
parking requirements. The intent of the ordinance does not seem to in-
clude offices. Law Director M. Gareau stated than an office as a secon-
dary use (such as to a motel) is implied but not an office as a main use.
R. Bugala moved that the Board of Zoning Appeals rule that office buildings
or bank buildings are not a permitted use in a Motorists Service District,
seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m.

C. Remmel, Chairman
B. Oring, Recor-tling Secretary
