a <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 6, 1982 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Swietyniowski administered the oath of office to new member <br />Thomas Restifo. <br />Present: C. Remmel, R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and T. Restifo <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, <br />Councilman R. Wilamosky, and Recording Secretary Oring. <br />Mr. Bugala corrected the Minutes of September 1, 1982 in case 13, line <br />11: should read "Mr. Bugala sees no specific hardship for Mr. Johnsen <br />to comply with the Ordinance." E. Graves moved that the Minutes of <br />September 1, 1982 be approved as corrected, seconded by L. Horvath, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />1. John P. Hupperich, 3226 W. 230th St: <br />, Request for.variance (1133.13). Request 16 sq. ft. variance for shed <br />(less than 4,000 sq. ft. in rear yard). Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151.04D. " <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. Mr. Hupperich explained that he had bought a <br />8' x 12° x 8' shed since he had been told that he could have a 100 'sq. <br />ft. barn, however since he has less than 4,000 sq. ft. in the rear yard <br />he can only have an 80 sq. fte shed. M. Horvath moved to.grant the <br />variance, seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Remmel, Horvath, <br />Bugala, and Graves, aye. Mr. Restifo abstained. Motion passed variance <br />granted. <br />2. Sandra Malcuit, 5338 Columbia Rd. <br />/Request for variance (1133.13). Request 19` rear yard variance for <br />patio roof (walls not enclosed). Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1163.01. Also request Special Permit to add to non-conforming dwell- <br />ing (front set back). Special permission required by Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. It was pointed out that the property was tree <br />lined and the enclosure was not visible. M. Horvath moved to grant <br />the variance and Special Permit, seconded by E. Graves, and unani- <br />mously approved. Variance and Special Permit granted. <br />3. Walter E. Russell, 24852 Randall Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 16.4 rear yard variance for <br />screened patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />(variance for rear yard granted 9/17/63).
