The <br />oath was administered Lo Mr. llorr, of M.idwest Shelters. He explained <br />that this structtire is to shelter the r:iutomatic teller from the weather <br />and from the glare of the sun. It will be tinted glass. Because <br />it will be adjacent to the driveway and because of the congestion <br />,'in that area, the 13oard believes this wili cut down on drivers' vis- <br />iblty and will be dangerous. It was suggested that the automatic <br />teller should be relocated. E. (.raves moved to grant the variance, <br />seconded by C. Remmel. Roll call on motion: Craves, Remmel, Bugala, <br />Horvath, and itestifo, Nay. Motion failed to pa55. Variance denied. <br />14. RobeM-Saylor, 23985 1 rank St. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 3' side yard variance for <br />garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04 C. . <br />j?Chairman Remmel called all interested parties beFore the Board. The <br />? oath was administered. It was suggested that a 2' variance would <br />allow more room to maintain that side of the garage. Mr. Saylor <br />agreed. C. Remmel moved to grant a 2' side yard variance for the <br />garage, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />15. R. & J. Smith, 3949 Dryden Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 12' rear yard variance for <br />v proposed addition. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board.' The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Smith and Mr. Brown, building contractor. <br />It was observed that the lot is an unusual shape and the way the <br />house is placed on the lot creates the problem. There is consider- <br />able space between the addition and the house directly behind. R. <br />Bugala moved to grant the variance, seconded by T. Restifo, and unan- <br />imously approved. Variance granted. <br />16. Bernice Hubert, 2870 Clague Rd. <br />'ORequest for variance (1133.13). Request 163 sq. ft. variance for <br />garage area. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04C. Also request <br />Special Permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Boarde The <br />oath was administered to R. Fisher of Wagner Home Improvement. There <br />ia a three car garage on the property,-and the variance is needed to <br />replace a damaged carport which was used to shelter a motor home. <br />A gravel pad will remain and footers will be installed. Law Director <br />Gareau stated that it is diserable to keep the motor home under cover, <br />but it is not required by the city. There is also a shed which is in <br />disrepair on the property. R. Bugala moved Ed grant the variance, <br />seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Remmel, Bugala, Graves, <br />Horvath, and Restifo, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Request denied. <br />\1-1 <br />The Board requested that the Building Department check into the shed <br />on the Hubert property.
