Request variance to enclose parking <br />area wit}i fence (accessory) on property with no primary use. Viola- <br />tion of Ord. 62-33, Section 1173.02K. <br />Continued from June 2, 1982. <br />No representative present. <br />1. Rapid Rabbit, 4722 Great Northern Blvd. <br />V Request Special Permit to use existing non-conforming pole sign <br />(more than one pole sign on property). Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1221.06 B-4. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. Representatives of 1taPid Rabbit explained <br />that their address is on Great Northern Blvd., but the building faces <br />Brookpark Road and potential customers do not know where the shop is <br />located. Also the Hugo travel agency building projects out to the <br />front so that east bound traffic does not see the wall sign until <br />they are going past it. There is no group sign for the plaza. <br />This sign wi11 be illuminated. 4.C. Remmel moved to grant the Special <br />Permit,limited to this particular applicant only,to replace the faces <br />of the existing pole sign. The Special Permitapplies only to Rapid <br />Rabbit and is not to carry on to a subsequent business, seconded by <br />W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. Special Permit granted. <br />2.
