Fix of Clark Oil explained the
proposal and showed pictures of the type of canopy that will be
built. The canopy will be cantilevered 12' from the columns. Mr.
Bugala stated that if a variance is granted Planning Commission
must approve this proposal as presented. He believes that if it
were approved based on Planning Commission's and the Architectural
Board of Review's approval, they could make suggested changes; or
if it did not meet with.their approval, it could be rejected. R.
Bugala moved to grant the variance based on approval by Planning
Commission and the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by
C. Remmel, and unanimously approved.
Councilman D. Woerpel, chairman of the BZD Committee, addressed
the Board. The Committee is requesting direction as to what
changes could be made in the zoning codes, based upon the requests
that come before the Board. Chairman Remmel stated that one pro-
blem was that the placement of the 6' fence required for a
swimming pool should be discussed, since many people fence in their
entire lot with such a fence. Also he requested that the BZD
Committee notify the Board when new legislation is being considered
so that the Board could attend.
R. Bugala moved to take August off as a vacation month, seconded
by W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
V ?
C. Remmel, Chairman B.
