<br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MARCH 3, 1982 <br />PAGE 2 <br />2. James Mierzejewski, 6110 Columbia Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 680 sq. ft. variance <br />for detached garageo (Existing attached garage on property). <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04 C. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. Mr. Graves observed that the area <br />where Mr. Mierzejewski plans to build the garage is completely <br />screened from other properties and cannot be seen from the road. <br />R. Bugala moved to approve the 680 sq. ft. variance for a de- <br />tached garage at 6110 Columbia Rd. for James Mierzejewski, <br />seconded by E. Graves,and unanimously approved. <br />3. Spudnuts, Inc., 26963 Lorain Rd. (Formerly M& K Bakery). <br />Request Special Permit to add to non conforming building (set <br />back). Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. Architect F. Leonard and Mr. D. <br />Brooks from Spudnuts presented the revised site plan and ex- <br />plained that the building plans have been changed also. There <br />will be seating for 20 people and a drive thru window. "Parlcing <br />conforms to the Ordinance. The builder is requesting a Special <br />Permit to add to_a non-conforming building and an 8` variance <br />for the addition. The revised plan has only one driveway off <br />Whitethorn and two driveways off Lorain. Mr. Brooks stated <br />that the parking areas will be paved. Law Director M. Gareau <br />advised that the Board could grant the variance based on the <br />site plan that is now being presented. Mr. Leonard stated <br />that a survey was being done now and there could be some slight- <br />discrepancies in the measurements, but.that the 8' variance <br />would be sufficiente C. Remmel moved to grant the 8' vari- <br />ance for Spudnuts, Inc. based on the plans as submitted on <br />March 3, 1982, including the green areas and driveways and with <br />the proviso that the parking area could be paved as shown on <br />the plans, and also grant the Special Permit for the addition <br />to a non-conforming building, seconded by L. Horvath, and unan- <br />imously approved. Variance and Special Permit granted. <br />E. Graves moved that the meetirig be adjourned, seconded by R. <br />Bugala, and unanimously approved.;. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. <br />1 <br />C. Remmel, Chairman <br />B.
