PLANNING CONAIISSION JULY 27, 1982 <br />PAGE 2 <br />- M. Kennedy of Clark Oil explained that the canopy will be in- <br />stalled 14' above grade with no signage, the present building <br />will be repaired and repainted and new reduced signage will be <br />installed. The fence will be removed on the east side of the <br />property and will be replaced by a guard rail, the slates will <br />be.removed from the remainder of the existing chain link fence. <br />R. Perla moved to approve the Clark Oil Co. proposal as submitted <br />and as approved by the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by <br />T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. . <br />(4)' Roppo's Hair Salon, 4905 Dover Center Rd. <br />Proposal for exterior alteration and remodeling of existing <br />dwelling <br />Heard by the Arc}iitectural Board of Review July 21, 1982 <br />Mr. Roppo advised that he was in agreement with the Architectural <br />Board's recommendations for the building and the sign. T. Nlorgan <br />moved to approve the Roppo's Hair Salon proposal for exterior al- <br />teration and remodeling and also approve the signs with the <br />stipulations as presented in the Architectural Board of Review's <br />Minutes of July 21, 1982, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />(5) Lorain American Gas Station, 27830 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct an addition to existing gas station <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review July 21, 1982 <br />Mr. Cook explained the plans for the renovation of the existing <br />gas station since the plans did not show the exterior alteration <br />completely. Mr. Cook was in agreement with the Architectural . <br />. Board's recommendation for outdoor storage. He advised the <br />Commission tha-t he eventually intends to build on more storage <br />area and he will eliminate the truck that is now used for that <br />purpose. T. ;Morgan moved to approve the construction of the <br />addition to the Lorain American Gas Station with the stipulations <br />as presented by the Architectural Board of Review of July 21, 1982, <br />? seconded by R. Perla, and unanimously approved. <br />(6) William Given Warehouse, 3094£3 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to construct warehouse in Limited Industry Area <br />Tabled by the Architectural Board of Review July 21, 1982 <br />Building Commissioner Gundy explained that Mr. Given had not been <br />present at the Architectural Board and was placed on this agenda <br />at this time to satisfy the public notice requirement. PlanninQ <br />Commission had previously referred the proposal to the Architectur- <br />al Board of Review without public notice. Mr.,Given.exp:lained <br />the plans. J. Burns moved to table the William Given Warehouse . <br />proposal until recommendations are received from the Architectural <br />Board of Review, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved.
