• ?., . ..
PLANNING COMMISSION SEPTEMBER 14, 1982 PAGE 5
ordinances had subsequently been defeated. There will be other
legislation introduced concerning the proposed Industrial Park
and these will be passed in conjunction with one another. T.
Morgan moved to approve Ordinances 82-103 and 82-104, seconded by
J. Roberts, and unanimously approved.
VII. OLD BUSINESS:
Ordinance.82-88 (tabled on July 27th). Planning Commission would
like to meet with Councilman Wilamosky for a clarification of the
proposed ordinance.
In reference to the Architectural Board of Review Minutes of August 18, 1982 regarding the increasing number of illegal signs,
banners, etc., Councilman Woerple stated that there was a fine
provided for in the Codes, but the Commission agreed that some
provision should be made so that the Building Department will be
better able to enforce the ordinance. This will be discussed at
future committee meeting for zoning changes.
The Commission discussed the location of the City Complex and the
fact that Planning Commission did not review the plans officially,
however, a presentation was made by Mayor Swietyniowski to the
members. Councilwoman Y. Petrigac stated that some changes had
been made in the plans to include some landscaped area on Dover
Center Road and to provide a buffer zone at the rear where the
service area abutt:sresidential properties. R. Parry, member of
the Architectural Board of Review, stated that the proposed com-
plex could present problems in the area, and that this proposal
did not have to be approved by the Planning Commission and the
Architectural Board according to the City Ordinances, however,
according to the State Building Codes, Planning Commission does
have the right to review public buildings.
VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Committee to suggest changes in the Zoning Ordinances met in
August. Chairman T. Morgan will have a report for the next
meeting. IX. ADJOURNMENT:

J.
