It was suggested'.that <br />the driveways be striped, that the western most exit from <br />Arby's be right turn only onto Lorain Rd., that the guard <br />rail start at the front of Arbys and extend back to the exit <br />drive, and that the two adjoining drives be one continuous <br />curb cut. B. Gorris moved to accept the proposed Arby's <br />drive-thru window incorporating all of the suggestions of <br />the Architectural Board of Review of May 17, 1982 with <br />the stipulations that the existing single curb cut be re- <br />tained; and that striping indicate the flow of traff ic at <br />least to the southern most.portion of the Arby's building, <br />at which point the guard rail could then commence and ext•end <br />north to the rear,and where it terminates there will be per- <br />pendicular arrows or other striping indicating that the exit <br />from Miltons is to the rear of Arby's onto Silverdale Dr.; <br />and that the present western most driveway currently ser- <br />ving Arby's be made a right turn only onto Lorain; and that <br />a revised site plan incorporating these suggestions should <br />be prepared for presentation to the BZD, seconded by T. <br />Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />(1) Great Northern Shopping Center Subdivision, located on the <br />south side of Brookpark Rd., near the Lorain Rd. intersection <br />(, abuts Putt-Putt Golf Course on the east). <br />Tao sublots being taken out of i'arcel 235-27-1, one of which <br />is the site of the proposed and approved (Planning Commission <br />5/8/82) Pick-N-Pay Food Palace. <br />Assistant City Engineer McDermott and.Gil Richland representing <br />Great Northern explained the-subdivision of the two properties <br />separating them from the existing Great Northern property. <br />Sublot 1 will be for Pick-N-Pay and sublot 2 will be used for <br />future development. J. Burns moved to approve the Great <br />Northern Shopping Center Subdivision, seconded by R. Perla, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Gorris announced the meeting of the second annual Zoning <br />Institute in San Fransisco October 24 through 26th. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Ordinance 82-103 and Ordinance 82-104. These ordinances are re- <br />zoning from Single Family Residential and from Multiple Residence <br />to Limited Industrial Area. Councilman Woerpel explained that <br />there would be a second reading and a public hearing on these,._- <br />ordinances on October 4th, and that Planning Commission had rec- <br />ommended approval of similar ordinances previously but that these
