PLANNING COMMISSION SEPTEMBER 14, 1982 PAGE 3 <br />(6) Precision Hair Cutting, 27084 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to install awning with sign over store f roriā¢t <br />It was explained that this is a ridged awning of orange <br />canvass with yellow lettering. Building Commissioner Gundy <br />advised that this proposal has to be reviewed because it is <br />a fixed awning, a retractable awning would need no review. <br />R. Perla moved to refer the Precision Hair Cutting proposal <br />to the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by J. Brown, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />(7) William Given Warehouse, 30948 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to construct warehouse in Limited Industry Area <br />Heard by Architectural.Board of Review August 18, 1982. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy advised that the builder had not <br />submitted revised plans as requested by the Architectural <br />Board. There was no representative present. T. Morgan moved <br />to table the William Given warehouse proposal and request <br />that the Planning Commission be given a continuance to con- <br />sider this proposal from City Council, in as much as the <br />owner ' of?the Architec?tu?a]? <br />E)? 4- feSE.? Perla, and unanimouslyLSec{ <br />approved. <br />(8) Heyduk Florists, 25024.Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal for addition and alteration <br />. Heard by Architectural Board of Review August 18, 1982 <br />-? ? This proposal had been approved as presented i?'the Architec- <br />tural Board. J. Burns moved to approve the Heyduk Florists <br />? proposal as presented, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />(9) Arby's Restaurant, 26368 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct drive-thru window <br />In reference to the previous discussions, Law Director Gareau <br />. advised that the curb cut in the right of way'in front of <br />Milton's Restaurant was public right of way and should not <br />be considered a problem. The Commission would like to see <br />something other than a-guard rail between the two properties. <br />G. Draeger explained that the guard rail is necessary to keep <br />parked cars at Milton's from overhanging the driveway. Milton`s <br />has been granted use of the.exit drive behind Arby's onto <br />Silverdale. Doorway to the ladies restroom will be changed <br />to rear of property and doorway on the east of building will <br />be emergency egit only so 2' walkway will not be used by pe'. <br />destrians.
