ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. <br />Present: T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Brown, and B. Gorris <br />Absent: J. Burns, J. Prokasy, and J. Roberts <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building <br />Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant City Engineer <br />D. McDermott, Council members D. Woerpel, Y. <br />Petrigac, and R. Wilamosky, Service Director <br />J. Corrigan, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Morgan clarified.the Minutes of September 14, 1982, Page 3 <br />Item (7): "T. Morgan moved to table the William Given Warehouse <br />Proposal, and request that the Planning Commission be given <br />a continuance to consider this proposal from City Council, in <br />as much as the owner was not present to give his comments rel- <br />ative to the recommendations of the Architectural Board of Re- <br />view. This will give him an opportunity to submit the revised <br />plans and answer questions at the next meeting." Also, Page 3, <br />Item (8). first line should read: "This proposal had been ap- <br />proved as presented to the Architectural Board. R. Perla moved <br />to approve the Minutes of September 14, 1982 as corrected, secon- <br />ded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARZMENT REQUESTS: <br />(1) Signs: (Heard by the Architectural Board of Review 9/22I82) 1 <br />The signs were studied in conjunction with the Architectural <br />Board Minutes.of September 22, 1982. Regarding sign (b) <br />Waterbed City, Mr. Kub of First Neon Signs, explained that <br />he had reduced the sign to 12' in length so that it will not <br />overhang into the parking and can still maintain the 7' set <br />back requirement. The pole has been reduced to_approximately <br />16". Sign will conform to the Ordinance. (d) Manor Care <br />was withdrawn by Simon Signs. Signs (f) and (g) were heard <br />with building proposals. T. Morgan moved to .approve signs <br />(a), (b), (c), and (e) by the Commission with the recommen- <br />dations as stipulated by the Architectural Board of Review <br />Minutes of September 22, 1982, seconded b.y R. Perla, and <br />unanimously approved.
