CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />? PLANNINC COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 23, 1982 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:04 p.m. <br />Present: J. Burns, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, J. Brown, <br />and B. Gorris <br />A1so,,Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dube?lko, Building Com- <br />missioner E. Gundy, Councilmen D. Woerpel, and <br />R. Wilamosky, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Chairman Gorris amended the Minutes of November 9, 1982 to include <br />the letter of commendation to Mr. Prokasy. T. Morgan moved to <br />approve the Minutes of November 9th as amended, seconded by J. <br />Roberts, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />• (1) Signs: Heard by the Architectural Board of Review 11/17/82. <br />The signs were studied and discussed in conjunction with the <br />Architectural Board of Review Minutes. T. Morgan moved that <br />Planning Commission approve the signs as presented and as ap- <br />proved by the Architectural Board of Review with the exception <br />of sign (g) D& D Coins/Joanne Gifts; which is disapproved. <br />The following comments are to become part of this motion: <br />sign (c) the Golden Ox .pole sign, 3' variance be checked so <br />that it-meets code; gign (d) Dr. Jung wall sign, the Planning <br />Commission suggests that the phone number be removed; sign (e) <br />National Video wall signs, a color rendering be submitted.to <br />the BZD Committee; sign (f) Medicine Shoppe'wall sign, the <br />Planning Commission would also prefer that the sign not ex- <br />ceed the mansard, however, that would not be cnnsidered a <br />point of disapproval, seconded by J. Burns, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />(2) Pecorelli and Conti International Hair Design, 25796 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to alter existing dwelling for hair design shop. <br />Mr. Pecorelli, Mr. Lucien, Mr. Dodsley, and Mr. Leo advised <br />that the existing dwelling would be remodeled into the hair <br />design studio and 2 rental offices. The exterior will be <br />? the existing brick and stone, new cedar siding an d. green- <br />house enclosures will be added. Because of the drop in the
