OLD BUSINESS:
Ord. 82-$8
The amended ordinance prohibits the parking or storage of trucks
over one ton in single and two-family residence districts.
Councilman Wilamosky explained that the ordinance was written
after complaints had been received from residents regarding
parking tractor trailers and other large trucks overnight in
residential areas. The Commission questioned if non-conforming
businesses existing under the grandfather clause in residen-
tial districts would be exempt from this ordinance. It would
seem that they would be. J. Roberts moved to approve Ord.
82-88, seconded by J. Burns. After further discussion re-
garding the non-conforming businesses with trucks as well as
churches in residential areas with buses, Assistant Law Dir-
ector Dubelko thought that the language of the ordinance
could be changed to clarify this point. Since the public
hearing will ho.t be held until_December 20th, it was decided
to continue this until the next meeting. Mr. Roberts with-
drew his motion.
Mrs. Brown has contacted the Community Council regarding
cluster signs for community organizations. VIII.
