CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - MAY 17, 1982 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />Present:.. M.. Case, S. Ebin, and R. Parry <br />Absent: R. Mongello <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />S. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of April 19, 1982, as <br />presented, seconded by R. Parry, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />(a) Gray's Drug Stores, 23359 Lorain Rd. (Brooks Electric Signs) <br />Wall and Pole Signs <br />Withdrawn from Agenda (signs are installed). <br />(b) Gray's Drug Stores, 29047 Lorain Rd. (Brooks Electric Signs) <br />Wall and Pole Signs <br />Withdrawn from Agenda (signs are installed). <br />(c) Comprehensive Bookkeeping, 23755 Lorain Rd. (Cutler Signs) <br />Pole Sign <br />The Board would like the existing sign cabinet removed at the <br />old location if the owner of the building is agreeable. <br />R. Parry moved to approve the sign as presented, seconded <br />by S. Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />(d) Speedy Muffler King, 4565 Great Northern Blvd. (Cutler Signs) <br />Wall and Pole Signs <br />Mr. Parry questioned if circles which are painted on doors, <br />and which are part of logo,should be considered part of their <br />signage and should be included in total sign area. He also <br />questioned if extension of lettering which makes a band across <br />the entire front mansard was included in total sign area. <br />R. Parry moved to approve the facia sign design conditioned <br />that the Building Department recalculate the square footage <br />to include the entire extension of the sign which goes from <br />building edge to building edge, and determine if the sign <br />exceeds the s.quare footage, secondly, if the sign that is <br />presented is non-illuminated, and third that the circle
