CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 11, 1981 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, L Horvath, C. Remmel, and W. Wasniak <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Law Director M. Gareau <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring• <br />Mr. Remmel ammended the Minutes of October 7, 1981 to read under <br />item 2,add to motion "... grant the Special Permit with the con- <br />dition that the garage on the property will be moved 3'..." <br />L. Horvath moved to accept the Minutes of October 7, 1981 as <br />corrected, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />1. James K. Souris, 23565 Marion Rd. <br />Request for Special Permit (1133.12). Request for Special Permit <br />to add fireplace to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special Permit required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. The-fireplace is constructed; Mr. <br />Souris stated that he did not know that he needed a building permit. <br />C. Remmel moved to grant the Special Permit with the provision <br />that the city inspector approve the construction, the height, and <br />every detail of that fireplace, seconded by L. Horvath, and unani- <br />mously approved. Special Permit granted. <br />2. Raymond J. Cifranic, 3483 Columbia Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 2' height variance for <br />shed on existing pad) and variance for location (not 10' from <br />rear.lot line). Violation of 'Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. Mr. Cifranic stat'ed that he wanted <br />to construct the shed on the existing pad and that he wished to <br />amend his request for a shed that is 9'2". He now needs a 1'2" <br />variance not a 2"height variance as requested. L. Horvath <br />moved to -grant the location variance with the condition that the <br />height must conform to the ordinance, seeonded by W. Wasniak, and <br />unanimously approved.
