CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES - NOVEMBER 11, 1981 Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Present: R. Bugala, L Horvath, C. Remmel, and W. Wasniak Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Law Director M. Gareau and Recording Secretary B. Oring• Mr. Remmel ammended the Minutes of October 7, 1981 to read under item 2,add to motion "... grant the Special Permit with the con- dition that the garage on the property will be moved 3'..." L. Horvath moved to accept the Minutes of October 7, 1981 as corrected, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. 1. James K. Souris, 23565 Marion Rd. Request for Special Permit (1133.12). Request for Special Permit to add fireplace to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). Special Permit required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered. The-fireplace is constructed; Mr. Souris stated that he did not know that he needed a building permit. C. Remmel moved to grant the Special Permit with the provision that the city inspector approve the construction, the height, and every detail of that fireplace, seconded by L. Horvath, and unani- mously approved. Special Permit granted. 2. Raymond J. Cifranic, 3483 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request 2' height variance for shed on existing pad) and variance for location (not 10' from rear.lot line). Violation of 'Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D. Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered. Mr. Cifranic stat'ed that he wanted to construct the shed on the existing pad and that he wished to amend his request for a shed that is 9'2". He now needs a 1'2" variance not a 2"height variance as requested. L. Horvath moved to -grant the location variance with the condition that the height must conform to the ordinance, seeonded by W.
