. ?,. <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW NOVEMBER 16, 1981 PAGE 2 <br />(e) Milk Pail Restaurant (First Neon Sign Co.), 28981 Lorain Rd. <br />Wall Sign - Variance granted 11/11/81 <br />R. Parry moved to approve the Milk Pail Restaurant as approved, <br />seconded by R. Mongello, and unanimously approved. <br />(f) Milk Pail Country Flower Shop (First Neon Sign Co)., 28931 Lorain <br />Wall Sign - Variance granted with conditions 11/11/81. <br />R. Parry moved to approve the Milk Pail Country Flower Shop 2'x 10', <br />seqonded by S. Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Parry stated that the flower shop has a temporary sign in <br />the street right-of-way which possibly is an illegal temporary <br />sign complete with wind blown attractive devices which is pro- <br />bably illegal. Mr. Boyles stated that the temporary street sign <br />will be removed upon installation of the permanent sign. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />(.a) Name: Seuffert Construction Co., Inc. <br />Use: Accessory Building (Pole Barn) <br />Location: 24821 Lorain Rd. <br />Mr. Kiczek of Seuffert Construction presented a color elevation, <br />samples of materials, and a landscape plan showing the existing <br />trees and shrubs. The siding will be T-111 stained with Pratt <br />and Lambert 3-111 and the roof will be Georgia Pacific Copper- <br />wood. Downspouts will be connected to the existing storm sewers. <br />Mr. Parry suggested that additional evergreens or pine trees be <br />planted along the side of the building which abutts residential <br />property. There will be lighting on the building and from the <br />parking lot. R. Mongello moved to approve the Seuffert Accessory <br />Building with the conditions that 1) the area to the west be <br />landscaped with white pine or evergreens, minimum height 6' and <br />2) gutters to be tan to match the roof, seconded by R. Parry, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BLTSINESS : <br />(a) Name: Long John Silver's, Inco. <br />Use: Restaurant <br />Location: 25482 Lorain <br />Mr. Shumway presented the plans, color rendering,and landscape <br />plans. This is the standard building of the chain;with texture <br />1-11 on the walls. and cedar shake roof. A rough sawn cedar <br />fence on the top of the roof :aonceals the mechanical equipment. <br />Mr. Parry suQgested that the paneling which is used on the building <br />could- be used Bor the fence.and would be more compatible to the
