? <br />•? a <br />PLANNING COMMISSION JANUARY 13, 1981 PAGE 2 <br />(c) Great Northern Auto Service, 26674 Lorain Rd. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review on December 15, 1980. <br />There was no representative present. Chairman Bugala questioned <br />the parking space. requirements as noted in the Architectural <br />Board of Review Minutes. Building Commissioner Gundy explained <br />that a variance had been granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals <br />for the combined use of the easement and the Board agreed that <br />the parking was adequate. It was explained that the boberick <br />to be used for the fence was a lathe material which could be <br />1aintEd. T. Morgan moved that the Great Northern Auto Service <br />garage addition at the north end be approved with the recom- <br />mendations as made by the Architectural Board of Review, seconded <br />by J: Roberts, and unanimously approved. <br />(d) Manor Care Nursing Home Addition, 23225 Lorain Rd. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review on December 15, 1980. <br />The Architect for Manor Care explained the plans. J. Prokasy <br />moved to approve the plans for the Manor Care Nursing Home <br />proposal, seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />(e) West Shore Cable T.V., North Olmsted Recreation Center <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review on December 15, 1980. <br />Architect T. Tomsik and B. Parks of West Shore presented the <br />plans for the 3200 sq. ft. addition to the recreation center. <br />This portion of the Recreation Center will be taxable. The <br />plans were studied. The Architectural Board of Review had <br />approved the plans as submitted. There will be no dangerous <br />type of repair work done in the repair area. R. Perla moved <br />to approve the West Shore Cable T.V. proposal as submitted, <br />seconded by J. Roberts. Roll call on Motion: R. Perla, J. <br />Roberts, B. Gorris, T. Morgan, J. Brown, and R. Bugala, Aye; <br />J. Proksay, Nay. Motion passed. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />No Items <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />The Beacon News <br />ORD: 80-148 An Ordinance amending the Zoning Code of the City <br />of North Olmsted by adopting a revised Chapter 1157, entitled <br />"Lot Area and Depth Requirements in Residence Districts", and <br />repealing Chapter 1157 as previously adopted. <br />Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott stated that the word <br />maximum in Section B should be changed to minimum. It was <br />suggested that the word could be eliminated entirely. Paragraph <br />"C" which is being added to the Ordinance was discussed. J. <br />Roberts moved to approve Ord. 80-148 as submitted but striking <br />the word maximum in item B of Section 1157.01, second line, <br />seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved.
