r% <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - MARCH 10, 1981 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, T. Morgan, J. Prokasy, J. Roberts, and J. Brown <br />Absent: R. Bugala.and R. Perla <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy,. City Engineer R. <br />Zurawski, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, <br />Assistant Law Director D. Ryan, and Recording <br />Secretary B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Morgan moved to approve the Minutes of February 24, 1981, as <br />submitted, seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />Shell Oil Co., 25199 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct canopy over existing pump islands. ' <br />Building Commissioner Gundy added to the Agenda a proposal for <br />a canopy to be constructed to the existing pump islands. There <br />are to be no.other changes to the existing service station. A <br />20' sideyard variance had been granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals on March 4, 1981. J. Roberts moved to refer the Shell <br />Oil Co. canopy proposal to the Architectural Board of Review, <br />seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />DiBenedetto Subdivision, located at the northeast.corner of <br />Dover Center Rd. and Brookpark Road Extension. <br />Two (2) sublots from existing parcels 232-25-5, 232-25-6 and <br />232-25-54. Note that included.in this subdivision is the <br />pla'tting of additional right-of-way at the intersection of <br />Dover Center Road and Brookpark Road Extension, and at the <br />intersection of Sparky Lane and Brookpark Road Extension. . \ <br />\ <br />Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott explained that these <br />parcels had been subdivided by deed and this is for the records <br />only.and has been submitted at the City's request. The addi-. <br />tional right-of-way which will be dedicated to the City by the <br />developer is existing at present. The lots conform to Ordi- <br />nance, however, sublot 2 is residential on the north end and <br />general business retail on the south end. It was explained
