Bugala, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, J. Brown <br />B.._ Gorris, and J. Prokasy <br />Also Present: Building Comnissioner E. Gundy, Assistant City <br />Engineer D. McDermott, Assistant Law Director <br />D. Ryan, Councilmembers D. McKaV and J. Saringer, <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />R. Bugala moved to approve the Minutes of March 24, 1981 as <br />presented, seconded by R. Perla, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />Store Building Co. (Anthony Dindia), West 231 St. and Lorain <br />(Northwest corner). <br />Proposal to construct shopping plaza. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy introduced the plans and explained <br />that this was a different proposal from the one reviewed by <br />Planning Commission on July 10, 1979. The Commission is con- <br />cerned about the traffic pattern of this development and the <br />existing traffic problems at that location. Neighbors would <br />like a fence between the development and the residential pro- <br />perties. Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott explained that <br />the retention system would be reviewed and that the original <br />plan had been satisfactory. Councilwoman J. Saringer questioned <br />vhere dumpsters would be located. Mr. Dindia explained that <br />these would be small stores which would not require dumpsters, <br />but if they did, it would be the responsibility of the indi- <br />vidual tennant. R: Perla moved to refer the Store Building Co. <br />proposal-to the Architectural Board of Review with a request <br />for a report from the Safety Department relative to ingress and <br />egress of f ire equipment and also, that the Architectural Board <br />of Review pay particular attention to the buffer area from the <br />surrounding property owners, seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously <br />approved.
