ROLL CALL:
Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m.
Present: R. Bugala, T. Morgan, J. Roberts, R. Perla, J. Prokasy
J. Brown, and B. Gorris.
Also Present: Building Commissi7oner E. Gundy, Assistant City
' Engineer D. McDermott, Assistant Law Director
D. Ryan, and Recording Secretary B. Oring.
II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF 24INUTES:
J. Roberts moved to approve the Minutes as submitted, seconded
by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved.
III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS:
(1) Signs: Heard by the Architectural Board of Review
The signs were studied and discussed in conjunction with
the Architectural Board of Review Minutes of June 15, 1981.
R. Bugala moved to approve the signs ( a and b) as presented,
seconded by R. Perla, and unanimously approved.
(2) Hennie Homes Multi-family Development, located on the north
side of Brookpark Rd. Roughly between Great Northern Blvd.
and Mitchell Dr.
R. Puzzietiello, owner, and B. Deveraux, Architect, explained
the development would contain eighty-six 1, 12, and 2 story
units on a 6 acre plot (96 units would be allowed by code).
There will be 86 garage spaces and 86 open parking spaces
which conforms to the Ordinance. The only access planned
will be through Westview Dr., a"C" Residential area. The
Comnission questioned the legality of.this access. Since
this property was originally subdivided for single homes
they also questioned if the land had been reassembled. -Ac-
cording to Mr. Puzzietiello the original street had been
vacated and the property reassembled into one block. Mr.
A. Skoulis, President of the Park West Homeowners Association
objected to the additional traff ic through their residential
area. He suggested an access through Mr.-Puzzietiello's
property on to Great Northern Blvd. Mr. Puzzietiello agreed
to meet with the homeowners and explain the proposal.
J. Prokasy moved to refer the Hennie Homes Condominium pro-
posal to the Architectural Board of Review; that it also be
referred to the Law Director for investigation of the traffic
.WI
