! <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - JULY 28, 1981 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: J. Morgan, J. Roberts, R. Perla, J. Prokasy, J. Brown <br />and B. Gorris. <br />Absent: R. Bugala <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant Law Director <br />J. Dubelko, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, and <br />Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Prokasy moved to approve the Minutes of July 14, 1981 as submitted, <br />seconded by R. Perla, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(1) Signs: Heard by the Architectural Board of Review on July 20, 1981. <br />J. Prokasy moved to approve the Western Images signs as approved <br />by the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by J. Roberts, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />(Z) APCOA Theatre Restaurants (Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theatre), <br />Lorain at Clague Road (Formerly Esco). <br />Mr. G. Avery explained the plans for the theatre restaurant which <br />will include an electronic game room, playroom, restaurant, and <br />dinner theatre with an animated stage show for children. There <br />will be parking for 210 cars which is in excess of code. A large <br />entry way to the restaurant will control access and local police <br />officers are usually hired to attend the door. No one under 18 <br />will be admitted without an adult. Beer and wine will be sold to <br />adults. Operating hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the <br />week and until midnight on weekends. There are presently theatres <br />at Southgate and Southland Shopping Centers. A neighbor, K. <br />Bowman, 3792 Clague Rd.,displayed pictures of the property showing <br />it to be poorly maintained and also stated that it was poorly <br />maintained when it was entirely occupied. She requested that <br />there be screening around the dumpsters. She also feels that <br />there will be traffic problems. Mr. Avery stated that the pro- <br />perty would be cleaned up. J. Prokasy moved to refer Chuck E. <br />Cheese Pizza Time Theatre to the Architectural Board of Review <br />wi-th a specific request that they look to the rear area of the <br />building concerning screening for dumpsters and whatever is <br />necessary for deli-veries and pick up at the rear of the building,
