Burns, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, J. Brown, <br />and B. Gorris. J. Prokasy arrived at 8:05 p.m. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Assistant City <br />Engineer D. McDermott, Building Commissioner E. <br />Gundy, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />ZI. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Morgan corrected the Minutes of November 24, 1981 on page 2, <br />first line insert after the words parking spaces "...adjacent <br />to it are available for parking during dining hours,..." and on <br />page 3, 33rd line should read ..."but there could be an ingress/ <br />egress driveway at such time as the Mathias and Weaver property <br />was developed." 'J. Roberts moved to approve the Minutes of. <br />November 24, 1981 as corrected, seconded by J. Burns, and unani- <br />mously approved. <br />III., BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(1) North Olmsted Party Center, 29271 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct an addition. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy explained that this 400 sq. ft. <br />addition to the rear of the existing building was for office <br />space and storage. No parking spaces will be eliminated and no <br />extra parking is required for this type addition. The contrac- <br />tor explained that the building will be block sided with alumi- <br />num to match the existing. Mr. Gundy stated that the parking <br />conformed to the code requirements at the time the building was <br />certified for occupancy. Dr. Bokanyi, an adjacent property <br />owner, is concerned about the inadequate parking and the fact <br />that patrons of the Party Center park in various surrounding <br />parking lots including his own. This creates a problem for <br />him after office hours in emergency situations. He also had <br />complaints about an overflowing dumpster and a trailer parked-_.: <br />on the property. After a brief discussion it was decided that the <br />addition could be referred to the Architectural Board of Review; <br />and that the Building Commissioner could study the parking sit- <br />uation as it is now and advise the Commission what the required <br />parking would be under the present Ordinance prior to the <br />final approval by the Planning Commission.
