Parry abstained. <br />10 Minute Lub rication (Bob Cutler Signs, Inc.), 25715 Lorain Rd <br />Wall Signs and Changeable Copy Signs. <br />Approved and recommended. to Planning Commission as presented. <br />Buckeye Lanes (Bob Cutler Signs, Inc.), 24488 Lorain Rd, <br />(continued from March 17, 1980 Meeting) Pole Sign. <br />Approved and recommended to Planning Commission with the <br />condition that the wood base be kept 4" from the pavement <br />and the base of the sign be no less than 3' from the sidewalk <br />and that the sign be centered between the two driveways and <br />that there be 2 steel barriers to protect the base of the sign. <br />Transamerica Financial Services,(Brilliant Electric Signs), <br />Pole Sign and Wall Sign <br />Approved and recommended to Planning Commission as presented. <br />V. UIJFINISHED BUSINESS: (taken before balance of IQEld BUSITdESS) <br />(a) Resubmittal from April 16, 1979 and May 21, 1979. <br />Shell Oil Co., 23385 Lorain Rd. Landscape Plans <br />D. Williams moved to approve the Shell Oil Landscape plans <br />with the recommendation to change the Hix Yew to a Brown's <br />or intermediate yew, seconded by C. Petroski and unanimously <br />app rove d. <br />(b) Resubmittal.from-March 17; ,.19-80 <br />North Olmsted United Methodist Church, 4600 Dover Center Rd. <br />Mr. Thomas Moore, Architect, explained that the plans had been <br />revised to include a recessed front door with a roof for shelter <br />and an accent wall. The parking has been revised as suggested <br />and it will actually increase the number of spaces. The land- <br />`scap- plans have been revised and the existing trees are noted <br />on the plan. The drainage and underground retention basin <br />have been discussed with the Engineering Department. There <br />will be one parking lot light and a set of lights for the <br />building. R. Parry moved to approve the plans with the recom- <br />mendations that the two easterly parking spaces have a splayed <br />east edge, and also that the-sidewalk have a handicapped ramp <br />b uilt into the sidewalk coming up from the driveway, seconded <br />by D. Williams, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW BUSINESS (Continued)
