CALL TO ORDER: <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Parry, C. Petroski, D. Williams, and M. Case. <br />Also Present: B. Oring, Recording Secretary <br />II. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />D. Williams moved to approve the Minutes of June 16, 1980 as <br />submitted, seconded by C. Petroski. <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />(a) SIGNS: <br />Kimmich's Growing Trends, Inc. (Carson Kimmich), 23266 <br />Lorain Rd. Ground Sign. <br />C. Petroski moved to approve the Kimmich's Growning Trends, <br />Inc. Ground Sign with the condition that the sign be moved <br />10' east for better sight distance from uTesterly drive, <br />with a note to Planning Commission to verify if the sign <br />conforms to the Ordinance governing set backs, seconded by <br />M. Case. Roll Call on Motion: Petroski, Case, and Parry, <br />aye. Williams Nay. <br />Mro Williams stated that an Ordinance should be passed to <br />require th at ground signs should have a 7' front set back <br />to insure visibility. ' <br />Union Cotnmerce Bank (Brilliant Electric Signs, Inc. ), <br />23100 Lorain Rd. Wa11 Sign. No representative present. <br />Heard at end of ineeting. <br />Brown Derby Outlet Store (Bob Cutler Signs), 4660 Great <br />Northern Wall Sign. Approved with the condition that the <br />"steer" displayed in parking lot be removed. <br />Jartran Truck Rental ( Bob Cutler Signs), 28111 Lorain Rd. <br />Pole Sign. Approved as submitted. <br />Wall Papers to Go (Bob Cutler Signs), 25461 Lorain Rd. <br />(Olmsted Plaza) Pole Sign and Wall Sign. <br />Approved with the condition that the orange background must <br />match the orange on the mansard roof.
