Approved the facia sign only with the condition that the sign meets all City specifications for size and area. D. Williams abstained. Added to Agenda Spaghetti Place, (L. R. Olenik),. 26324 Lorain Rd. Replacement Pole Sign. M. Case moved to approve the sign as presented, Motion died for lack of second. D. Williams moved to approve the sign with the condition that the top panel be removed and the portion of the major part of the sign be utilized for a permanent nameplate allowing for changeable copy on the lower portion. Mr. Williams withdrew his motion. D. Williams moved to dis- approve the sign, seconded by C. Petroski. Roll Call on Motion: Williams and Petroski, aye. Parry and Case, nay. Motion failed to pass. R. Parry moved to approve the sign with the recommendation to delete the pentagonal shaped to piece of 8 sq. ft. which appears to be a separate struc- ture and to confine the sign into the larger lower pentag- onal shaped changeable copy sign and wherein a permanent sign could be added to the top area of the changeable copy portion of the sign, and that the changeable letters be limited to no greater than 6 inches, seconded by C. Petroski. Roll Call on motion: Parry, Petroski, and Williams, aye. Mrs. Case, Nay. The Board request the Building Department check if the sign on the Veterinary:Zlinic in the rear area of Great IQorthern Shopping Strip Center was approved with the building plans and if it meets the specifications of the Great Northern Shopping Center sign c ri te ri a.
