Parry.moved that_the Hermans <br />Sporting Goods sign at the Great Northern Shopping Center be removed <br />from the mansard and placed in its proper location on the sign panel <br />as per the Great Northern Sign Criteria, seconded by D. Williams, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />Bobbi Gee (Lemon Serigraph), 4694 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Wall Sign. <br />The sign height was amended by Mr. Lemon to be 2'6" not 1'6" as <br />shown on the plans. R. Parry moved to approve the Bobbi Gee <br />dign noting that the height is 2'6" rather than 1`6" with the <br />condition that the sign meets the Olmsted Plaza Sign Critera <br />as approved and that the square footage does not exceed what <br />has been granted to the store and that the lowest edge of the <br />sign be set at the same level as the existing Giant Shoe sign, <br />seconded by Petroski, and unanimously approved. <br />Robert R. Parry moved to approve both signs with the recommendations that <br />the northerly edge of the sign be at least 3' from the sidewalk, <br />and also that the routed pole sign have the street address included, <br />seconded by M. NEW BUSINESS: (Resumed) <br />(b) Tuff Kote Rustproofing, 5442 Porter Rd. <br />The plans to replace a window with an overhead door and to enlarge <br />an existing door were presented by Mr. C. Halleen. R. Parry <br />moved to approve the addition of the doors with the recommendation <br />that any area that has to be filled in with block or new door <br />jambs is to be repainted to match the rest of the front of the <br />building, and secondly to recommend that there be a defined apron <br />and entrance into this business, and that chuck holes etc should be <br />filled in as per City standards, seconded by M.
