A
brick wall was suggested at the end of the parking area to shield
automobile lights from existing buildings. The Board felt that
if a variance to reduce the 40' set back requirements could be
granted so that the garages would be placed closer to the right-
of-way, the parking could be placed between the buildings and the
garages instead of behind the garages as planned. This would
provide better security and also create a sound barrier. There
will be no dumpsters since there is daily pick up of trash. The
lighting plan,?is identical to what is existing. R. Parry moved to
approve the building plan and to request a resubmitta,l, of the
final site plan, landscaping_and:lighting plans, and recommend
that the applicant seek a variance from the garage set backs
so that the garages can be placed along the Brookpark Right of
way with approximately 10` set back so as to provide greater-
? noisebuffer, better security on the site, and allow better
separation to the existing Phase II of the Apartments, seconded
by D. Williams, and unanimously approved.
V. ADJOURNMENT:
The Meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
R. Parry, Chairman
B. Oring, Recording Secretary
