CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 12, 1980 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: D. Ledvina, C. Remmel, L. Horvath, and W. Wasniak <br />Absent: E. DeVoto Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau and Recording Secretary <br />B. Oring. <br />The Minutes of October 1, 1980 are to be corrected to show Mr. Wasniak <br />as absent. C. Remmel moved to approve the Minutes of October 1, 1980 <br />as corrected, seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. <br />1. Richard Puthoff, 23174 Stoneybrook . <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 21" side yard variance and <br />total side yard variance for fireplace. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />, Section 1161.01. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. C. Remmel moved to approve the 21" <br />side yard variance and total side yard variance for a fireplace, <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2. C. Ruggiero, 5578 Dorothy Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Reqaest 300 sq. ft. variance for <br />shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04D. Also request <br />90 sq. ft. variance for total garage area. Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151._04C.. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath.was administered. The request was explained to the neigh- <br />bors. Mrs. Ruggeriero explained that this was for storage of <br />garden tools; there would be no commercial usage. C. Remmel moved <br />_ to grant the variance, seconded by W. Wasniak. Roll call on motion: <br />Remmel, Wasniak, Ledvina, and Horvath, Nay. Request denied. <br />3. A. L. Stone, 5391 Decker Rd: <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 40 sq. ft. variance for <br />stied. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04 (D). <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. It was explained that the tool shed <br />was constructed after he applied for the building permit.. It <br />was pointed out that the tood shed was behind the garage and <br />completely hidden from view. L. Horvath moved to grant the var- <br />iance, seconded by W. Wasniak; and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted.
