ROLL CALL: Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, R. Bugala, R. Perla, J. Brown, R. Roberts. <br />New Member T. Morgan was present but was not sworn in. <br />J. Prokasy arrived at 8:17 p.m. <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant Law <br />Director D. Ryan, Assistant City Engineer D. i•?cDermott, <br />.Council-President D. _Limper.t_ and. Recording Secretary Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of DecembEr 11, 1979 will be deferred <br />until January 22, 1980. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(a) Signs : <br />Building Comniissioner Gundy introduced the signs which had <br />been reviewed by the Architectural Board of Review on <br />December 17, 1979. These signs were studied and discussed <br />in conjimction with the Architectural Board of Review Min--. <br />utes... B. Gorris moved to accept the signs as presented, <br />including the_ recommendations on the Dried 'n Fancy Sign <br />relative to the type of paint,. seconded by J. Brown, and <br />Lmanimously approved. <br />(b) Walnut Ridge Multi-family Development, Kennedy Ridge and <br />Colunbia Roads. Mr. Gundy introduced the alternate plan <br />with one n.oadway into the development, as was discussed in <br />. the Minutes of December 11, 1979. Building Coffinissioner <br />Gundy pointed out that there were no sidewalks along the <br />roadway, however, there would be room for one the the west <br />side of the access and still maintain the 20' buffer zone <br />along the residential zoning line. Mr. Charles Mulligan <br />representing the developer, stated that the addition of <br />the sidewalk would be no problem. Planning Commission <br />had requested a review of these plans by the Fire Department <br />and Police Department. Since no report had been received, <br />J. Prokasy moved to refer the Walnut Ridge 14ulti-family <br />Development Plan to comnittee imtil the next meeting, <br />pending the receipt of a report from the Safety Director, <br />and requesting a review from the Engineering Department, <br />seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved. It was <br />requested by Chairman Bugala that notices of the next <br />meeting be sent again to adjacent residents.
