Perla moved to disapprove <br />the Brown Derby. Sign because it was placed in use prior to <br />any approval of Planning Commission or any other organization <br />of the City. After a brief discussion it was, decided that the <br />installation of the sign is not a function of the Planning <br />Commission Mr. Perla wi thdrew his motion. R. Perla moved to <br />approve the Brown Derby sign with the recommendations of the <br />Architectural Board of Review, seconded by R. Bugala, and <br />imanimously approved. <br />I (b) <br />Jartran Truck Rental (Bob Cutler Signs), 28111 Lorain Rd. <br />Pole Sign. T. MQrgan moved to approve the Jartran Truclc <br />Rental Sign as submitted, seconded by J. Perla, and unanimously <br />app rove d. <br />Wall Papers to Go. (Bob Cutler Signs), 25461 Lorain Rd.. (Olmsted <br />Plaza) Pole Sign and Wall Sign.. <br />R. Perla moved to approve the Wall Paper to Go with the proviso <br />contained in the minutes of the Architectural Board of Review <br />as corrected (Orange letters must match Orange mansard roof), <br />seconded by J. Brown, and imanimously `approved. <br />Union Commerce Bank (Brilliant'Electric Signs, Inc.), 23100 <br />Lorain Rd. Wall Sign. R. Bugala moved to approve the Union <br />Commerce Bank Sign as submitted, seconded by R. Perla, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />Spaghetti Place, (L. R. Olertik),.26324 Lorain Rd. Replacement <br />Pole Sign. T. Morgan moved to appYOVe the sigr? as recommended <br />by the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by J. Roberts. <br />Roll Call on Motion: Morgan, Roberts, and Bugala, Yea. Gorris, <br />Perla, and Brown, Nay. Motion':failed to pass. <br />Bryant and Stratton Business School Building, Brookpark Rd. Ext. <br />(West of Gold Circle Department Store). It was explained that the subdivision of land will be presented to <br />Planning Commission at"the next meeting. At this time the developer <br />is requesting a referral to the Architectural Board of Review for <br />approval of building plans. The parking is adequate. Since an <br />easement for the driveway will be necessary, the Commission re- <br />quested that a-letter from Federated-Department Stores be submitted <br />with the final plans stating-thit-this easement has been granted. <br />J. Roberts moved to refer the Bryant and Stratton Business School <br />Building to the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by R. Perla, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />,.
