DeVoto <br />ALSO PRESENT: L aw Director M. Gareau, <br />and Recording Secretary <br />C. Remmel moved to approve the minutes <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and imanimousl <br />order at 7:30 p.m. <br />and L. Horvath. <br />Building Coumiissioner E. Gtmdy, <br />B. Oring. <br />of August 1, 1979 as submitted, <br />y approved. <br />1. Osear L. Clingan, 6180 Columbia Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 482 sq, ft. variance for garage. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04 Sub Para. "C" <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board, the <br />oath was administered. Mr. Clingman explained the request. It was <br />observed that the garage would not be seen from the street since the <br />lot was so deep. C. Remmel moved to grant the variance with the con- <br />dition that the garage is not to be used for commercial purposes, <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and tmanimously approved. Request granted. <br />2. R. Metzger, 4677 Michael and 4689 Michael <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance to install fence on <br />? vacant lot adjacent to property occupied 'by owner. Violation of Ord, <br />, 62-33, Section 1151.04 (H). <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. Mr. Metzger explained the request. This is a <br />vacant lot which is next door to the owners property. L. Horvath moved <br />that the Board grant the variance with the condition that the variance <br />accrues to the adjacent parcel, seconded by C. Remmel, and tmanimously <br />. approved. Request granted. . <br />? <br />3. Shezwin Williams Co. ,. 4630 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request to exceed maximum area per- <br />mitted for sign. Violation ofOrd. 62-33, Section 1225,02 (c). <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. This variance is necessary because the other <br />stores in the plaza have used all allowed sign area. This is the same <br />. signage area that Sherwin idilliams had had at their previous location <br />in Great Northern Shopping Center. L. Horvath moved that the variance <br />be granted, seconded by C. Remmel, and tmanimously approved. Request <br />granted.
