l' <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MARCH 7, 1979 - MINUTES <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Chai rman Ledvina called the meetin g to order at 7:30 p.m. ' <br />Present: Chairman Ledvina, C. Remmel, J. Fairfield, L. Horvath <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />The Chair moved to excuse Mr. Devoto and offered the- congratulations of <br />the Board to Mr. & Mrs. DeVoto on the birth of their daughter, seconded <br />by Mr. Horvath, Mr. Remmel, and Mr. Fairfield. <br />Minutes of February 7, 1979 ins?rt: the word "zoning" on Page 2 second <br />paragraph. Sentence should read "Chairman Ledvina has requested that <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals receive copies of all Zonin Ordinances <br />passed by Cotmcil". Mr. Horvath moved to approve the minutes of <br />February 7, 1979 as corrected, seconded by Mr. Remmel and approved <br />unan imously, <br />Mr. Ledvina advised the Board that he appeared before BZD Committee <br />that evening and urged their study and adoption of changes that had been <br />recommended in the Board of Zoning Appeals minutes of November 1, 1978 <br />regarding fence heights, privacy screens and parking. Chairman Ledvina <br />was informed by the Chairman of BZD that they hoped to have a meeting <br />with the Board of Zoning Appeals at the first possible convenient date. <br />1. Terrence J. McChrystal, 4793 Carston Lane. Request for Variance <br />(1133.13). Request for 6' rear yard variance for family room <br />addition. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1153.01. <br />Chairman Ledvina requested that all interested persons appear <br />before the board. The oath was administered. This property is <br />a pie shaped lot and requires a 6' rear yard variance. Mr. Remmel <br />observed that the adjacent house extended further back than Mr. <br />PicChrystal's proposed addition. Mr. Remmel moved to approve the <br />variance, seconded by L. Horvath, and approved unanimously. Request <br />granted. <br />2. Richard & Betty Dvorak, 5658 Dorothy Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). <br />Request 15 foot rear yard variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />1151.05. <br />Chairman Ledvina requested that all interested persons appear before <br />the board. The oath was administered. The appealant is requesting <br />a 15' rear yard variance for a tool shed which is to be placed 25' <br />from his rear lot line. His property is 262. 19' deep. Mr. Remnel <br />questioned an existing accessory building on the property. Mr. Dvorak
