Shell Oil needs a 17 foot set <br />back variance for a self service oas station to be located <br />at Lorain and Clague Roads. Mr. Armbruster advised the board <br />that there would be no building just a canopy type covering over <br />the pump island. He produced pictures showing a similar station <br />in Zaestlake. Mr. Armbruster explained that the non-conforming <br />driveway caas not the required 60 feet from Clague Rd. The plans <br />were studied and discussed. Mr. Ledvina observed that this lot, <br />with the existing ordinances, is just not compatible for a <br />gas station. Mr. Fairfield moved to deny both variances, seconded <br />by Mr. Ledvina. Roll call on motion: Messers. Ledvina, Fairfield, <br />and Horvath, yea, Messrs.
