<br />. <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIELJ SEPTEMBER 17, 1979 PAGE 2 <br />' o <br />a• (b) Columbia Village rondominiums, Lorain at Columbia Rds. <br />Referred from Planning Commissiori Meeting of September llth. <br />The Planning Commission Minutes vf:-September llth were read and then Mr. Bernstein and Mr. Lefkowitz gave some of <br />the backgrotmd information regarding this revised plan for <br />Phase 2.(Phase 1is completed). The plans were sttidied and <br />discussed. During the discussion the Architects agreed to <br />revise the site plan and to relocate the front rubbish .. <br />platform. R. Parry moved to approve the building plans with <br />the following recommendations: 1) that the white stucato <br />{ panels be eliminated and only the Texture 111 wood panels be <br />used, 2) that all electrical and gas metering be concealed <br />either behind the wood privacy fence on the patios or <br />screenea with landscaping, 3) that all aluminum vents on <br />the roof be painted to match the roof, 4) that outside lighting <br />be placed where ever possible so that it will not be di- <br />rectly in front of the condominium windows, 5) that the <br />parking area at the -entrance to the :cul-de-sac be redisigned <br />to eliminate the awkward right hand turn into the cul-de- - <br />sac, and also redesign the parking at the south=east corner <br />of the.project, and that this should be included in the <br />detailed site plan, 6) that the flowering trees not be in- <br />stalled behind the garages, but massed elsewhere, the spruce . <br />in the island of driveway be eliminated, that the baxwood <br />be eliminated and sDme othe.rshrub more corupatible to .the <br />area be subsituted, 7) that the site plan be tabled imtil <br />the next-meeting to see dimensions -of- parking area,- Seconded <br />by M. Case and Lmanimousiy approved. <br />(c) Central Bank, 26065 Lorain Rd. . <br />Referred-from Planning Commission Meeting of August..?$, 1979: <br />Robert Stark owner__of Stark Development and Fred Lynch, <br />Architect- explained the Central Bank plans. The traffic - <br />flow was studied and--discussed.- -Mr. Stark stated that he <br />could,1notreduce the parking.because of. agreements with the <br />other--tenants of. his development:-- D. Williams suggested.- <br />moving landscaping into one a'rea toward- the building. <br />The building will_be Bronze brick with_Bronze tone windows.- <br />C. Petroski moved to approve the_plans of the Central Bank <br />with the stipulation of relocating the front island, and to <br />consoiidate landscaping in one - area closer -to the building <br />and also to approve the sign as submitted, seconded by M. <br />Case and imanimously. approved. <br />Mr. Parry was excused at this time. <br />(d).
