<br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW NOVEMBER 19, 1979 PAGE 2 <br />They are considering using utility size brick with colored grout <br />(brown Tiolly), all earth tones will be used, there will be a <br />fiberglass timberline roof (poly-cedar blend - 315), wood will be <br />rough sawn cedar (texture 111) stained with earth tone, poly-saridstone <br />trim on garages. <br />The developers and the Board agreed Qn several points: 1).trash_con- <br />tainers, not located on plans will be screened. 2)wate=r?and electric <br />meters, not shown on the plans, will be placed in garages or at end <br />of units, 3) roof vents have no closures needs flashing, 4) down- <br />spouts not shown on plan will be heavy commercial gttuge aluminum <br />(baked enamel in earth tones) 5) Air conditions are to be mounted <br />on pads and placed as far away from bedroom windows as possible and <br />vented so as not to harm foliage, 6) gas meters will be grouped <br />with air conditioners 7) Garage closes_t to building will be extended <br />out an additional foot or garage doors will be reversed so that <br />larger door is closer to b uilding rather than single door to expand <br />some of b ack out areas. 8) Fast growing evergreens or higher trees <br />should be added to landscape plan (mostly flowering bushes) to <br />screen upper windows along 1480 and that as many natural trees as <br />possible will be left on property 9) if mail chutes cannot be used <br />design outside mail boxes, 10) Development sign to be designed <br />11) Lighting plan will be submitted at a later date. <br />The neighbors present are very much interested in having b.he devel- <br />opment fenced and were advised to check with the Planning Commission. <br />R. He explained that A A R Corporation wanted to cut <br />b ack on the project and, also, there is a problem getting the Dryvit <br />material and also in applying it in below 45 or 50 degree weather. <br />The drive-under canopy will be part of Phase 2. They haVe now de- <br />signed a masonery building (split block) with steel above the window <br />heads. The present canopy will be exterior plywood or panel 15 <br />(aluminium faced plywood) The old brick on the existing building <br />will be painted to match the split block. C. Petroski suggested <br />usingstucco over the existing brick or at least an expoxy coating <br />with a guarantee. C.
