W. Ohman moved to approve the Golden- <br />gate Health Spa sign as presented, seconded by J. Brown, and <br />tmanimously approved. <br />(b) Pic Way Shoe Store, 27650 Lorain Rd. (Northeast corner of -Lorain <br />and Porter Roads. Mr. Gundy introduced the proposal, and Jim <br />Brunskill represented the company. The plans were studied and <br />discussed. This will be on the site of a former gas_station and <br />the gas tanks have been removed, parking is adequate. The <br />northern side of this property will be abutting residential <br />property. B. Gorris moved to refer the Pic Way shoe store to <br />the ARB, calling to their attention the nossible need for <br />screening to the north along Porter Rd., seconded by J. Brown, <br />and tmanimously approved. . <br />(c) King Automotive Supply Co., 26824 Lorain Rd. Building Commis- <br />sioner Gundy introduced the plans for a 40' x 52' addition to an <br />existing building which is to be used as a warehouse and storage <br />area. Walter Cleveland,'Contractor, Bill Davidson, Architect, <br />and Stan King, Owner were introduced to the Commission. The <br />plans were studied and discussed, the addition is to the rear <br />of the building, and wi11 be the same mateiZal, parking is <br />adequate, Sparky DiBenedetto who owns adjacent property ques- <br />tioned the drainage of storm water and stated that there was no <br />easement for use of sewers. He was advised that the Engineering <br />Department would have to approve the plans for drainage before <br />final approval could be given. J. Brown moved to accept the King <br />Automotive and Supply Co, plans for the proposed addition subject <br />to the acceptance of the Engineering Department, seconded by <br />W. Ohman-, and unanimously approved. <br />(d) A A R Office Building, 26127 Lorain Rd. Mr. Gundy ea-olained the <br />proposal for an addition to the existing office building. The <br />plans were studied and discussed. [dilliam Halasy, Architect, ex- <br />plained that the front offices would be used for A A R and the <br />back part will be leased out. The parking area will be used <br />only for the office staff. The parking is adequate, but the en- <br />trance drive needs to be improved. W. Ohman moved that the AAR <br />project be referred to the Architectural Board of Review requesting <br />that they look seriously at the exit-entrance traffic flow and <br />adequacy, seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />IVe NEW DEVELOPPiEN•TS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />(a) Conway Subdivision, ldestside of Canterbury Rd. , south of Chapel <br />Hill Drive., Realignment of the rear property line of parcels <br />232-22-1 and 232-22-34 (Agenda shows wrong parcel number), two <br />(2) sublots. This is a realib ment of the rear property lines, <br />there are existing homes on both lots, they will sti11 confo?-m to <br />ordinance. B. Gorris moved to accept the realignment of the <br />two parcels (232-22-1 and 232-22-34), seconded by R. Bu.gala, <br />and unaninously approved.
