<br />'k <br />PLANNING COMMISSION JUNE 26, 1979 <br />PAGE 4 <br />Sign Ordinances he feels that adding to it piecemeal is creating a <br />total Sign Ordinance that is imenforceable and at times contradictory, <br />and that the entire Sign'Ordinance should be rewritten professionally. <br />Mr. Prokasy stated that the Chamber of Commerce really just wants to <br />return the authority of issuing temporary or portable sign to the Building Commissioner to issue it instead of going through the same <br />proceedures as.for a permanent sign. A lengthy discussion ensued. <br />J. Prokasy moved to place Ord. 79-89 in committee in order to get <br />imput from the Chamber of Comrnerce, seconded by W. Ohman, and unanimously <br />app rove de <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Ord. 79-81 "Accessory Uses in Any Residence District" This ordinance <br />is -to change the following: Limiting the length of a Windbreak.or <br />Privacy Screen to 16' , changing the'height of a permitted fence from <br />4' to 5', clarifying that only one boat or one trailer can be- stored <br />in the side or rear yard and that any area in the front of the dwelling <br />structure shall not be considered side yard. J. Prokasy moved to <br />approve Ord. 79-81, "Accessory uses in any Residence District", <br />seconded by J. Roberts . Roll Call on motion: Prokasy, Roberts, <br />Ohman, Brown, and Bugala, Yea, Gorris, Nay. Motion passed. - <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Chairman Bugala distributed a rough draft of the Architectural <br />Board of Review's Suggested Guidelines for Submittal, for further <br />study. <br />Bikeways Coffinittee still waiting for a new map before completing <br />report. <br />Sign Committee has no report. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br />J. Prokasy moved to excuse the absence of D. Ryan, seconded by J. <br />Roberts, an.d unanimously approved. <br />J. Prokasy moved to adjourn; seconded by R.
