Af- ter discussion and study of plans, Mr. Huntington moved to grant special per- mission to add to non-conforming dwelling. Mr. Ackley seconded, and motiori passed. Variance granted. 6. Richard W. Reiss, 29151 Dorchester Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Re.quest for location of tool shed closer to house than required by Ord. Violatiori of ord. 75-117. Bretton Ridge Association rules and the ordinance were discussed. Mr. Huntington moved to deny the re- quests Mr. Remmel seconded, and motion passed. Request denied. 7. Columbia Rd. Baptist Church, 4116 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133•13). Request for special permission to build 60 ft. x 108 ft. addition to existing Church. Special permission required by Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.01 (E). Chairman Ledvina invited the applicant and all other interested persons to as- semble before the Board. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in.Plans were studied and discussed. Mr. Remmel moved to grant special permission to build 60 ft. x 108 ft. addition. Discussion continued. Mr. Remmel withdrew his motion. Mr. Ledvina moved to grant special permission as long as proposed addition is no closer than 50 fte from Linn property line. Mr. Remmel seconded, and motion passed. Request granted conditionally. 8. Great Northern Shopping Center, 10740 Broadway, Garfield Hts., 0. 44025. Re- quest for variance (1133.13). Request to use storage building behind Great Northern Shopping Center for animal clinic. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1173.02 (D) (7). (Less than 500 ft. from food establishment.) Chairman Zedvina invited the applicant and all other interested persons to as- semble before the Board. Al1 witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. Mr. Shur distributed planse Renovation of storage building is to be the start of improvement of the entire rear area of the Shopping Center. Board members had made site inspections and found the building to be approximately 35 ft. from Rhinelander Restaurant. After lengthy discussion Mr. Huntington moved to deny the request. Motion died for lack of a second. Mr. Remmel moved to approve the request. Vlr. Ackley seconded the motion. Roll Call: Messrs. Remmel and Ackley, aye; Messrs. Huntington and Zedvina, nay. Motion failed to pass. Re- quest denied. Members of the Board wish to go on record as recommending that this Section (1173. 02 (D) (7)) of Ord. 62-33 either be removed or significantly changed.
