Planning Commission 3-23-77 - 2 - <br />(b ) Vienna Woods Subdivision #l <br />Eleven Class B residential lots on east side of 14alter Rd. be- <br />tween Lorain Rd. and Gessner Rd. Permanent Parcel Nos. 231?27- <br />3 and 231-27-20e <br />Messrs. Clingman and Kadar appeared before the Commissiona The <br />subdivision is a part of what was discussed at last meetingo 11 <br />Class"B lots on UJalter Rd. plus residual parcel (Sub Lot #12). <br />Mr. Childs explained division of parcels. Sub Lot #6 raill remain <br />the largest lot. Many neighbors were present (Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. <br />Lucas, Mr. and Mrs. Vicholas and Mr. Mersing).. Neighbors ques- <br />tioned water retention, will oversize Lot.#6 become a roadway,and <br />the value of Lot #6 as a residential loto Councilman Sharpe ask- <br />ed when a road will be developed. After further discussion and <br />questions Mr. Tischler moved to approve- proposed Vienna Tr:ioods Sub- <br />division. Mr. Prokasy secended the motion. Mr., Roberts said he <br />hopes the developer will come in with plan for rear of property; <br />he hopes it will be a good plan. Roll Call on the motion: Mes- <br />sers. Tischler, Prokasy and Zurawski9 aye; Messrs. Roberts and <br />Rafeld, nay. Motion failed to passo <br />(c) Vienna j;ioods Subdivision #1 Improvement plans <br />Tn view of above action it was inappropriate to rule on Tmprove- <br />ment Plans. <br />V. Communications <br />(a) Correspondence regarding January 25 minutes and invitati,on to <br />Couneilman Sharpe to attend this meeting were reviewed. Item <br />under discussion is S-tandard Oil Co. rezoning request - south <br />side of Lorain Rd. at west corporate line - approximately 9110 <br />of an acre from li.mited industry and trailer park to retail <br />business general. Ntessrs. Rafeld Tischler and Prokasy told <br />Councilman Sharpe their reasons for negative votes thus reject- <br />ing the rezoning request. <br />(b) Letter from David Foy regarding location of basketball court in <br />Canterbury 4doods Subdivision was rea d. Mr. Zurawski moved to <br />refer the matter to the Buil.ding Department. Mr. Prokasy second- <br />ed and motion passedo <br />Students from North Olmsted High School Government Class k?ere re- <br />cognized at this time. <br />VI. Committee Reports - No Items <br />VIIe New Business <br />(a) Election of representative to Landmarks Commission - Mr. Prokasy <br />moved to nominate Mr. Zurawski to represent Planning Commission <br />on Landmarks Commission. Mr. Rafeld seconded. Roll Call on mo- <br />tion: Nessrs. .Prokasy, Rafeld, Tishcler and Roberts, aye; AIr. <br />Zurawski abstained. Motion passed.
