, <br />4p <br />Planning Commission 10-12-76 - 3 - <br />(a) Country Club Blvd. A1o. ?, extension from relocated 15tate Route <br />252 ,•(Great Northern Blvd. south of Brookpark)eastward to Col- <br />umbia Rd. - dedication plat and improvement plans. <br />Mr. McDermott distributed pro ject site maps and location dratia- <br />ings. The project site map was approved in concept by Planning <br />Commission in February of 1976. 14r. Sol Shur appeared before <br />the Commission. After study of the plans and some discussion <br />Mr. Rafeld moved to approve Cout'try C1ub Blvd, No. ?, extension <br />dedication plat and improvement plans. Mr. Nee seconded and mo- <br />tion passed. <br />(b) Standard Oil Co. rezoning request - south side of Lorain Rd. <br />at west corporate line-approximately 9110 of an acre - from <br />limited industrv and trailer park to retail business general. <br />A representative of Standard Oil Co. appeared before the Com- <br />mission. Mr. McDermott distributed location maps and plat maps. <br />He explained the trailer park mill be eliminated hith the advent <br />of I-L80. I-480 drawings were distributed. Planned is reloca- <br />tion of facility at the turnpike -- to become a gasoline only <br />facility in 2 or 3 years, these are long range plans. Mre Freeh <br />moved to approve the rezoning for motor service classif icatione <br />Mr. Roberts seconded the motion. There was further discussion. <br />Mr. Roberts withdrew his second to the motion. Motion died for <br />lack of a second. I?'ir. Rafeld moved to place in committee for <br />further study. 17r. Evanoff seconded and motion passed unanimous- <br />ly, 1Ir. Tischler was assigned to study the proposal and to re- <br />port back to the Commission at its December 14, 1976 meetinge <br />(c) Inwood Estates Subdivision - north side of Duane - 7 sub 1ots. <br />Plat maps and tax maps were distributed by AZr. McDermott. Law <br />Director Gareau explained variances as granted Octa 6, 1976 by <br />Board of Zoning Appeals. After further discussion ?`.r. Rafeld <br />moved to place lnwood Estates Subdivision in committiee for on <br />site inspectiono Mr. _Fvanoff seconded and motion passed. <br />VI. Communications <br />Chairman Prokas.y announced two items had been received - an ordinance <br />No. 76-144 entitled 'tArchitectural Review Board't and Ord. 76-145 per- <br />taining to a change in the code. Mr. Freeh moved both items be plac- <br />ed in committee until the next meeting. Kr. Nee seconded and motion <br />passed. <br />Chairman nrokasy announced Councilman Sharpe had called a BZD Commit?.-- <br />tee meeting for VJed. Oct. 13 to consider hiring a city planner. 111r. <br />Evanoff volunteered to attend as Planning Commission representative. <br />VTI.
