City of North 0lmsted <br />? <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPF,ALS <br />January 7, 1976 ? <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.mo <br />Present: Messrs. Ledvina, Huntington, Olson and Duskey. <br />Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Building Commissioner Gundy and Recording <br />Secretary Hodgins. <br />PZr. Duskey moved to approve minutes of September 17 meeting. Mr. Olson seconded <br />the motione I4essrs. Duskey, Olson and Ledvina voted ayeo Mro Huntington abstain- <br />ed from votingo Minutes stand approved. <br />At this time Mayor Ralph Christman administered the oath of office to Mr. Hunting- <br />ton. ' <br />Building Comm;.ssioner Gundy announced Case #6 on tonight's agenda, Manor Care Nurs- <br />ing Home request, had been withdrawn. <br />Mr. 01.son moved to approve minutes of December 3 meeting. Tvlr. xuntington seconded <br />? and motion passed unanimously. <br />Mra Duskey complimented Mr. Ledvina for his performance as chairman of the Board <br />during the past year and nominated Mr. Ledvina for a second term as chairman. Mr. <br />Olson seconded the motiona There being no further nominations Mre Ledvina was un- <br />animously elected to serve as chairman of Board of Zoning Appeals for the year 1976e <br />Mr. Olson moved to nominate Nir. Duskey to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board for <br />a second term. PZr. Huntington seconded and there being no further nominations Mr. <br />Duskey was unanimously elected to serve as Vice Chairman of Noard of Zoning Appeals <br />for the year 19760 <br />l. Carol and Mike Jevcak, 5516 Porter Rd. Requesti for variance (1133.13). Re- <br />quest for rehearing for variance for existing tool shed (3 ft. off rear prop- <br />erty line and 2 ft. off side line). Permission for rehearing is requested <br />under Ord. 75-117. <br />Present: Mr, and Mrs. Jevcak and otherso tiAJitnesses were administered the <br />oath. Case and appeal were read. Also to be considered in this <br />request is size of existing tool shed (10 ft. x 10 ft.) Chairman <br />Ledvina gave the five criteria for tool sheds under the new ordi- <br />nancea lIr. Olson had made on site inspection and said garage is <br />extremely small; shed is not offensive with shrubs and fence; neigh- <br />bors do not object. A'Ir. Olson moved to grant the two variances - <br />floor area and set back. Mr. Duskey seconded the motion. Roll Call <br />on motion: Messrs. Olson, Duskey and Ledvina voted aye. Mr. Hunting- <br />? ton voted nay. Request granted. <br />2. Joseph Petrick, 5646 Canterbur,y Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for side yard variance for house to be moved from 4556 Clague Rd. to Permanant <br />Parcel #23L3-19-55 (Cor. Broxbourne and Guilford.)
