Board of Zoning Appeals 1-7-76 <br />a 2 _ <br />Present: Mr. Petrick who was administered the oath. Ca.se and appeal were <br />read. Plans were examined. After short discussion nlro Hunting- <br />ton moved to approve 1 1/2 ft. side yard variance for corner lot. <br />Nlro Duskey seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />3. Wm. P. Guzay, 5433 Porter Rd. Request for variance (1133.13)• Request for <br />1 ft. side yard variance for fireplace. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />1161.01. <br />Presents Mr. and Mrs. Guzay and neighbors. Witnesses were administered the <br />oatho Case and appeal were read. Plans were explained. Mr. Duskey <br />moved to grant 1 ft. variance for construction of chimney. Mr. O1- <br />son seconded and motion passed. <br />4. Thomas G. Hreha, 5084 Lucydale Ave. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for 6 ft. stockade fence. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.0?. <br />Presents Nir. Hreha who was administered the oath. Case and appeal were read. <br />Appellant's property abuts commercial. There followed discussion of <br />location of fence, height of fence, description of activities in ad- <br />jacent commercial properties and debris from same. I4r. Olson moved <br />to grant 2 ft. height variance for fence. Mr. Duskey seconded and <br />motion passed. <br />5. Request of Roger Paddock for Paddock Fishley Greenhouses, 25137 Kennedy Ridge <br />Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request to build addition to non-conform- <br />in business in single residence area. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1231.02 <br />(B? (2)• <br />Presents Roger Paddock and others who vere administered the oath. Case and <br />appeal were read. Plans were examined. There was discussion as to <br />location of proposed I-480 and new 252 in relation to appellant's <br />property. Mro Huntington moved to approve the request. A7r. Duskey <br />seconded a nd motion passed, <br />7e Donut World, 25367 I,orain Rdo Request for variance (1133•13). Request for <br />variance to increase maximum sign area by 20 sqo ft. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1125m02, Par. (c). <br />Representative from Donut World and from Medical Realty were present and were <br />administered the oath. Case and appeal were read. Sign is to be in addition <br />to sign on building. After some discussion as to oversize signs, the number <br />of sign variance requests deni.ed by this Board, the Donut Ir)orld sign request <br />was withdrawn. <br />PrIr. Gundy submitted new notice form for approval of Board members. <br />Mr. Gundy read letter from Carl G. Pfaff, 4635 Fleharty requesting clarification <br />of zoning ordinance 62-33 Sections 1174.06 and 1163.02 pertaining to the Helen S. <br />Brown Subdivision. A portion of Niay 4, 1966 minutes of Zoning Board were studiede <br />iqr. Gundy's computation taas reviewed. Developer of the Helen S. Brown Subdivision <br />has been advised to hold up plans. Mr. Pfaff's letter is to be regarded as appli- <br />cation for interpretation. Case to be heard at next meeting of this Board. <br />Y•
