CITY OF NORTH OI,MSTED, OHIO <br />PLANNING CONMISSION <br />March 25, 1975 <br />Z. RoZ7. Call <br />Chairman Prokasy called the meeting to order at 8:00 pom. <br />Secretary Eian called the ro11. Those present were: Messrso <br />Prokasy, Roberts, E1liott, Tischler, Freeh and Rafeld and Mrs. <br />Eian. <br />Also present: Mr, Gundy, Building Commissioner, Mr. McDermott9 <br />Assistant City Engineer, Mr. Gareau, Iaw Director and Mrs. Hodgins, <br />Recording Secretaryo <br />Chairman Prokasy officially welcomed new Commission Member Rafeld. <br />II. Review and Correction of Niinutes <br />After short discussion Mr. Freeh moved minutes of March 11, 1975 <br />meeting be approved as submitted, Mr. Tischler seconded. Motion <br />passed unani.mouslyo <br />III. Building 1?epartment <br />(a) Old Requests - No Items <br />(b) New Peqmests <br />NIr. Gundy presented site plans for abandoned Sohio station <br />at t^'hitethorn and I,orain. Shown was plan to change, reno- <br />vate and remodel far bakery. Plan for site was first pre- <br />sented March 12, 1974 for shoe shop. For bakery being pro- <br />posed tonight six parking spaces are required, eight are <br />provided. tiahen first plan was presented Council required <br />parking space #8 be made into planter leaving 7 spaces. <br />Paul Mclntosh, 540 Ridge Rd., Parma, proprietor of Parma <br />Home Bake*was present and said els.mination oi 1 parking <br />space creates no problem for bakery operationo 1lr. Wise, <br />owner of the property, was also present. Mr. Roberts sug- <br />gested 8th parking space not be taken up with planter; but <br />some space allowed for drive and turning. aterior appear- <br />ance of the building is to be improved. Mr. Tischler moved <br />to approve parking layout with elimination of parking space <br />#8. Mr. Roberts seconded and motion passed unanimouslya <br />TV. Old Business - No Items. <br />V?
