Plaaning Commission 10-1..4-75 <br />- 2 - <br />ed if requested. After some discussion Mr. Roberts moved to <br />16 accept plan as proposed with the condition frame shed be removed <br />from Lot 1. 14r. Tischler seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />(e) Access Road for Sandy Ridge Subdivision #8 - North side of Blossom <br />Blvd., west of Edgepark - Sublot #205 of Sandy Ridge Subdivision #50 <br />Nlr. DiBenedetto and many neighbors assembled before the Commission; <br />also Councilman Goggin. Mre McDermott distributed plans and ex- <br />plained this is previously recorded subdivision; a new subdivision <br />is being requested by Mr. DiBenedetto, the developer. New nlans <br />extend into 1Arestlake, with.roadway on sub lot #205. Entrance was <br />to be approved by North Olmsted 10-U-69 by rlanning Commission <br />and City Engineer. Plans went no further because of sewer prob- <br />lems. Route of sewers was described with easements through sec- <br />tions of both North 4lmsted and UTestlake. Request tonight is for <br />a street opening on sub lot #205 into Westlake. City of North <br />Olmsted records have no approval; no improvement plans ever went <br />to Council. <br />John Dell, 27384 Blossom Blvd. asked how many roads into the de- <br />velopment of how many homes. He said i,tm,°is speedway nowo <br />Dan Nichol, 27977 Edgepark said there is large drainage ditch be- <br />hind Sub Lot #205 - how vill road cross drainage ditch? Mr. Di <br />Benedetto gave resume of ditch -$60,000 was cost of ditch. <br />? Ronald Zeller, 27996 Edgepark asked if access is being planned to <br />Porter Road why is Sub Lot #205 needed for road. <br />Councilman Goggin said the basic question is - does Council have <br />to have official signature before street opening. Law Director <br />Gareau answered yes9 and gave explanation. It was stated plat <br />was made and submitted to former Law Director Kitchen. <br />Bob Grace, 27992 Blossom Blvd. stated development will take 5 or <br />6 years and it is a small street opening for trucks, etce He <br />described the streets and stated building in Tn'estlake should use <br />Tnlestlake streets. <br />Councilman Goggin asked how will street opening benefit North <br />Olmsted. <br />Mr. DiBenedetto said there would be no sewers if drainage did not <br />flow with fall of the ground; the sewer is at low level. <br />Robert Auer, 27246 Edgepark Dr. pointed out how the developer bene- <br />fited. <br />Pat NTusial, Blossom Blvd. said it is hard now to get out of Blossom <br />Blvdo <br />Marcia Kelly, 27787 Edgepark Lr. said road isn't neededo <br />Dean Scranton, 27605 Blossom Blvdo spoke of the traffic pattern. <br />Recycled Bond - One step to eave oux eavixonment
