. ? _ •. PLINNING COMMISSION Nov. 11, 1975 I. . Ro11 Call Chairman Prokasy called the meeting to order at 8:08 p.m. Present: Chairman Prokasy, Secretary Eian, Messrs. Roberts, Tischler and Freeh. Also Present: Assistant City Engineer McDermott, Law;Director Gareau, Recording Secretary Hodgins and Councilmen Goggin, Sharpe, Beatty and Nesta II. Review and Correction of Minutes Add the words "will consider" in second line from bottom of lst para- graph of second page. Delete the last five words of last sentence of 3d paragraph from bottom of second page "basically it is esthetics situ- ation'.' Mr. Freeh moved minutes of Oct. 28, 1975 Planning Commission meeting be accepted as corrected. Mr. Tischler seconded and motion passed. IIT. Building Department Requests - No Ttems IV. Old Business (a) Access Road onto Blossom Blvd. - north side of Blossom Blvd. west of Edgepark - Sublot #205 of 5andy Ridge Subdivision #5. There were assembled before the Commission approximately 55 area residents, Councilman Goggin and N1r. DiBenedetto. Location maps and copies of a por- tion of Council minutes of 12-16-69 and a portion of Planning Commission minutes were distributed by Mr. McIJermott. iV[r. McDermott gave report of the review of records of original process and investigation as to whether or not item had ever come before Council. He said the original intent of Planning Commission at that time was to grant an access roadway (Mr. Di- Benedetto said through Sublot #205). The committee of Council was re- ceptive but there is no record of a council vate regarding this action. Conclusion of the review and examination of records is that Planning Com- mission did give authorization and initially the Planning Committee of Council gave approval. However, there is no record of any legislation or any further discussion on the matter. 1Ir. DiBenedetto said he had presented linen with two signatures of then acting Planning Commissioners. There is recorded easement of the east 20 ft. of Sublot #205. The forced main for which the easement was granted is no longer in use and the ease- ment will not affect the buildability of the lot. Chairman Prokasy re- peated summation of Engineer McDermott's report.' Law Director Gareau said plat showing proposed street would have to have been approved by Council. Mr.. DiBenedetto explained about pressure main going down his street and as a resident asked about North 0lmsted sewers in 'krestl.ake he explained a- bout the Dover Road package plant and the sewer route.
